RECORDS TUMBLE TO WELCOME '07

Long standing records tumbled at the first SSCA event of the year, bringing in 2007 with a bang. Foundation member Hunter Fujakov broke three records against fellow foundation member Patrick Chalkman.
The games highest ever test match innings of 44 was surpassed by Hunter in a masterfull display of both patience and high scoring shot selection in an innings of 46 which finally finished via a bowled dismissal. In the same match, Hunter was able to claim two more records, the highest ever recorded victorious test match margin, 44 Runs and 2 innings to spare and the total cumalative victory of 74 runs. This was due mainly to his historic first innings of 46 combined with Patricks crushed morale during the rest of the test match.
Hunters initial reaction to breaking the long standing and prestigous record was one of disappointment in not being able to continue his innings to reach the elusive 50 run barrier but members of SSCA will be aware that in his current form, another opportunity well not be far away.

RECORDS CONTINUE TO TUMBLE IN THE NEW YEAR

Hunter Fujakov has continued in his rich vein of form, becoming the first member of the SSCA to bowl a hat-trick during a 20-20 event in St Leonards. Hat-tricks have been elusive in all forms of Super Singles with Hunter incredibly being the first in the competition to reach the feat in either Super 6's, Test matches of 20-20's. The hat-trick propelled Hunter to a 20-20 victory against Peter Chalp placing him top of the ranks for SSCA leader board.
